Q. What is consignment training for business owners (public education)?
A. "A. Consignment training (public education) for employers is an employment insurance policy that seeks to improve job performance among workers at workplaces with no delays. If conditions are not appropriate, the training institution entrusts training sessions, management of trainees, etc."
Q. Can all employees participate in the employer's consignment training (public education)?
A. "A. If you are a worker in a workplace with employment insurance, Anyone can participate in the employer's consignment training."
Q. What is the reimbursement of education costs by employment insurance?
A. "A. The Korea Industrial Human Resources Development Corporation supports some of the educational expenses of students registered as employment insurance insured."
Q. How much can I get a refund?
A. "A. The types and amounts of funding that are supported vary depending on the training process and the size of the enterprise.

What companies are eligible for priority support?

This refers to an entity that has an industry-wide number of workers under the criteria in the following table.

Q. How can I get a refund?
A. The procedure for applying for employment insurance reimbursement has changed since January 2019.
  • A refund can be made after depositing the entire educational expenses before starting the training.
  • For companies eligible for priority support, the maximum amount of support is 90%, and the self-payments are 10%.
    - In order to get reimbursed for expenses, trainees must pay the training fee in full with the technician certification fee before the training, and submit the necessary documents to the person in charge of the training for the technician increase.
